Six fire crews were needed to tackle the blaze at the unit in Centurion Way at just before midnight.
Firefighters from Leyland, Bamber Bridge, Chorley and Penwortham dealt with the incident using three hose reels.
A fire brigade spokesperson said the cause of the blaze was now being investigated. No injuries were reported.
