Six boys wanted after attempted motorbike theft from delivery driver outside takeaway
Six boys are wanted following an attempted theft of a delivery driver’s motorbike outside a takeaway in Preston.
The incident happened on New Hall Lane just after 8pm on January 14.
Lancashire Police said a delivery driver had left his motorbike parked outside the takeaway while he went inside to collect an order.
While he was in the premises, an attempt was made to steal the bike.
During the incident, the door to the takeaway was held shut to prevent the delivery driver from intervening.
The motorbike was pushed over and damaged before the group fled the scene.
Officers have released images of six boys they would like to speak to as part of their enquiries.
Anyone who recognises the individuals pictured, or who has information about the incident, is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log 1193 of January 14.
