Wigan Warriors players formed a guard of honour at The Brick Community Stadium on Thursday as the coffin of Sir Billy Boston was carried inside.
Crowds gathered on the streets and outside the ground to pay their respects on his final journey. Sir Billy Boston was adored across Wigan and beyond, with Prime minister Andy Burnham among those attending his funeral.
