Search underway for missing 48-year-old Preston woman

A 48-year-old Preston woman has been reported missing after disappearing in the city yesterday (Thursday, July 29).

Dawn Sutton was last seen at around 2pm and police say they are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

She is white, 5ft 4" with a slight build and mousey-brown bobbed hair. She has no teeth and was last seen wearing a distinctive bright mustard duffel coat, black jeggings and blue plimsolls.

Police also describe Dawn, 48, as appearing much older than her age.

A police spokesman said: "We are concerned for her welfare and are appealing for your help to find Dawn.

"If you have seen her or have any information, please call police on 101, quoting reference 1526 of July 29."

Preston Police
