Quackers tradition to take place this Bank Hol Monday at Yarrow Valley Park in Chorley

A ‘quackers’ tradition will take place on Bank Holiday Monday in Chorley.

Chorley Council have announced a yellow rubber Duck Race at Yarrow Valley Park will be the order of the day from 10am until 2pm.

They said: “Get ready for a fun-filled day with our park rangers on Monday 25 May (10am to 2pm)!

“Build your own duck boat or bring one along and take part in the Duck Boat Race on the River Yarrow.”

The meeting point will be at Birkacre play area.

Those attending can also bring their own homemade mini boat or make one on the day from recycled materials and then join in the Duck Boat Race on the River Yarrow.

Everyone is welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
