What is the project?

The project is now more than half way through - four of the seven screens are now open with the new seating.

Vue bosses say that they aim to have all of the seven screens at the Capitol Centre cinema fully refurbished by August 25.

How will it be launched?

The new reclining chairs are perfect, say Vue bosses, for the September line-up which includes supernatural horror, IT, Kingsman: The Golden Circle and The Lego Ninajago Movie.

How’s it going?

Tom Mitchell, General Manager of Vue Preston commented: “We’re incredibly pleased to see the progress being made on our refurbishment here in Vue Preston. The new leather recliner seats really enhance the big screen viewing experience and they’re going to be no extra cost for our customers.”

“We’re focussed on bringing you the best in big screen entertainment and the difference the new seats make is really incredible. I urge customers to come down and experience The Recliner for themselves now. We apologise for any potential disruptions while the upgrade is underway.”
