Probe into fatal house blaze
Police and fire officers were today investigating a fatal house fire in Lancaster.

Lancashire police confirmed they were in the very early stages of investigating the blaze which occurred in the early hours of today (Sunday).
Officers were called at approximately 4.50am to reports a fire had broken out at an address on Coniston Road.
One person has died.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service sent four fire engines to the scene – two from Lancaster, one from Morecambe and one from Bolton-le-Sands.

Teams with breathing apparatus went into the house to extinguish the fire.
A joint police and fire service investigation has now been launched and the fire is currently being treated as unexplained.
No further details have been released.
