Preston grime artists have released a music video featuring a bonfire at the Camelot theme park building destroyed in a blaze at the weekend.

Local grime ‘legends’ Sparkie Titch and Mr Rebz premiered their new hit ‘Sh*t Don’t Hurt’ on YouTube on Wednesday (June 10) - and it didn’t take fans long to spot a familiar building in the background.
The music video was filmed at the former Camelot theme park in Charnock Richard, owned by housing developer Story Homes, who want to build 350 homes on the site.

In the video, Sparkie Titch and Mr Rebz are seen rapping next to a bonfire outside the same castle-themed building which burned to the ground in a huge blaze last Sunday (June 7).
It’s not known when the musicians staged the video and whether Story Homes was aware of their filming on site. Story Homes has not responded to the Post’s enquiries about the fire last weekend.
There’s no suggestion that the Preston grime artists are in any way responsible for the blaze, which Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service believe to have been started deliberately.

Four fire engines from Chorley, Bamber Bridge, Leyland and Wigan stations were called to the site at 2.33pm on Sunday after the timber building became engulfed in flames. They remained at the scene for around three hours with crews using jets to bring the blaze under control.
Lancashire Police attended the incident but told the Post that no arson occurred and the fire was not suspicious. The force said no investigation will take place into how the fire started.
Camelot closed in 2012 and became a popular destination for ‘urban explorers’ who ventured into its grounds, attracted by the spooky vibes of the abandoned medieval-themed amusement park.
Sunday’s blaze is the second major fire to break out in the Camelot and Park Hall area in recent weeks. Park Hall Nightclub was set alight on April 7, with a 16-year-old arsonist causing severe damage to the iconic nightspot.
He has been charged and is currently being held in a youth detention centre where he awaits sentencing.
