An amateur dramatics group has picked up three gongs at the prestigious NODA awards.

Preston Gilbert and Sullivan (G&S) was delighted with winning Best Chorus in a G&S Opera and Best Production in a G&S Opera for last year’s production of Patience.Philip Walsh was also awarded Best Director in a Gilbert and Sullivan Opera.He said: “I am so pleased for the company who worked so hard on this new production of Patience, one of the less popular operas.”Chairman Robert Feeley said: “I am delighted the company were so successful after all their hard work in mounting the show and equally delighted that our director, Philip Walsh, was recognized for his talents.
