Popular fun day cancelled due to bad weather

A popular Lancashire fun day has been cancelled due to the poor weather.

Farington fun day was due to take place today between 1pm and 4pm but has been cancelled due to heavy rain.

South Ribble councillor Paul Wharton tweeted: “Farington fun day CANCELLED due to poor weather. Apologies to everyone.”
