South Ribble MP Katherine Fletcher has paid tribute to the Duke of Edinburgh.

Writting on social media, the MP said: "It is extremely sad news this lunchtime for us all with the announcement that His Royal Highness Prince Philip has passed away at Windsor Castle.

"Thank you for a lifetime of extraordinary public service.

"May He Rest In Peace".
