According to property portal, Zoopla, the demand for homes in the city grew by 58 per cent from 2018 to 2019 – the highest increase in buyer demand year-on-year across the entire UK.
The report showed that the interest in Preston amongst buyers has been boosted by the pedestrianisation of Preston city centre, the revitalisation of the high street, good accessibility to nearby schools and a strong local job market.
