Police fear body find is missing man

Lancashire Police have confirmed that body has been found in the search for a missing man.

Police believe a body found in Farington, South Ribble, to be that of missing man Michael Hutchinson.

The body was found at shortly before midday today (Saturday) on Centurion Way at Farington, South Ribble.

Police stated Police stated: “While he has yet to be formally identified the body is “While he has yet to be formally identified the body is sadly believed to be that of Michael Hutchinson, who went missing earlier this week.

“Our thoughts are with Mr Hutchinson’s family at this time and we would like to thank all those who helped withthe search to find him.”

There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances at this time.

Mr Hutchinson, 34, had last been seen at an address on Towngate in Leyland on Wednesday.
