Both fires are being treated as suspicious.
Police have confirmed the cause of two fires which both happened yesterday in Preston are being treated as suspicious.
Fire crews were called out to the first blaze at 12.08pm yesterday to reports of a fire at the closed Chinese takeaway on Ormskirk Road.

The road was blocked off by emergency vehicles as firefighters damped down the flames. They also used cutting equipment on roller shutters to gain access to the property which is currently closed.
The fire involved the first floor and roof space of the three-storey building measuring approximately 30 metres by 30 metres.
The second blaze broke out at 6.20pm on Garstang Road with four fire engines from Fulwood, Penwortham and Preston, together with an aerial ladder platform, attending a fire involving a derelict outbuilding.
Firefighters used two hose reels, one jet, a triple extension ladder and an aerial ladder platform to tackle a fire involving the roof space of a single-storey building measuring approximately 15 metres by 15 metres.
Crews worked to establish a water supply, extinguish the fire and make the structure safe following a roof collapse. Electricity North West attended to isolate the power supply.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue service confirmed the cause of both fires remain under investigation.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police added that both fires are being treated as suspicious and that no arrests have been made.
They added that they are separate investigations with nothing to link them.
