Police '˜concerned' after man goes missing

Police say they are concerned for the welfare of a 41-year-old man from Lancaster who hasn't been seen since Thursday.

Neil Baines was last seen at an address in Haslindgen Road, Blackburn around 7.45am.

He is described as white, 5ft 8in tall, of stocky build, with dark brown cropped hair. He was wearing a dark coloured jacket, blue jeans and uses glasses.

Police believe he was in Darwen on Friday and could be in the Sowerby Bridge area in West Yorkshire.

He is known to frequent places of worship and public houses.

Det Insp Alisa Wilson said: “We are appealing for information following the disappearance of a 41-year-old man from Blackburn.

“We are concerned for Mr Baines’ welfare and would urge anyone who has seen him or knows where he is to contact police.”
