Police said that she may be wearing a blue hooded top and urged anyone with information to get in touch.

PC Christian Farrar, of Blackburn Police, said: “This is extremely out of character for Sherana and we are becoming increasingly concerned as to her whereabouts.

“She is vulnerable because of her age and we would urge anybody who has seen her, or who may have information that could help us find her, to please get in touch.

“We would also appeal to Sherana, if she sees this, to get in touch to let us know she is safe.”

Anybody with information should contact police on 101, quoting log number 0549 of February 1, 2016.
