Police appeal after knife robbery at store

Police in Preston are appealing for information after a customer pulled a knife on staff during a robbery at a convenience store. The incident occurred at around 10.45pm on Tuesday June, when an unknown man entered the One Stop shop on Black Bull Lane in Fulwood.

A police spokesman said: “He engaged in conversation with the two shop workers, before making demands for money and showing the knife which was tucked into his trousers.

“The man made off on foot with a small amount of coins from the till.

“We don’t know which direction he headed in.”

Nobody was injured in the incident.
