Pleasure Beach Resort announce exciting new tickets & packages exclusively for people in these postcodes

Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach Resort has launched a trio of new and returning offers created exclusively for local people, as it celebrates its 130th year of operating on the Fylde Coast.

The deals include a heavily discounted season pass, cheaper day tickets and dining offers, all designed to give those living nearby even more reason to enjoy Europe’s “most action packed theme park.”

Heavily discounted season passes

The most impressive savings come from the revamped Gold Season Pass, which is only available to people with an FY postcode. Priced at £85, it entitles holders to visit any day of the season including, for the first time, the majority of Saturdays. It also includes a range of other benefits including discounts on shows, events, restaurants and shopping

Previously, Gold Season Passes could only be used Sunday to Friday, whereas this year the only exclusions are late-night Saturdays in July and August, and Saturdays during October half term. It can now be used over a 203 days, which works out at a cost of 49p per day.

Cheaper tickets on the day - PR and FY postcodes

Local people can also secure the much cheaper ‘online’ price at the gate, through the return of the ‘Wylde Coasters’ scheme. It means that anyone with an FY or PR postcode can and enjoy savings of up to £25 when they show proof of address at the ticket office. In March, the savings offered jump to £30 (50 per cent off) as locals will be able to take advantage of the further discounted 'Adrenaline Weekends' price at the gate, as well as online.

The scheme makes it even easier for local people to make the most of living close by and visit at the last minute, while still taking advantage of the savings that are usually only available to people who pre-book online.

Locals-only dining offers throughout February

In addition, Pleasure Beach has introduced a new locals-only dining incentive for guests with FY or PR postcodes if they show proof of address when paying their bill. Residents can enjoy 20 per cent off dining on the a la carte menu, plus a complimentary bottle of house wine at either Blues Bar & Brasserie at Big Blue Hotel, or Beachside restaurant at Boulevard hotel.

Both restaurants have also introduced loyalty cards which can be used throughout the year. When regular diners collect six stamps, they receive a free meal and a bottle of house wine.

Beachside recently launched a decadent new menu to rave reviews, while Blues Bar & Brasserie offers relaxed dining and a build-your-own pizza station for families.

Amanda Thompson, CEO of Pleasure Beach Resort, said: “We’re proud to have operated in Blackpool for 130 years. These offers are about saying thank you and making it even easier for local people to visit us time and time again.

“They offer greater flexibility and better value, and we hope it will encourage people who may not have visited us for some time to come back and experience all we have to offer, including our world-class rides and fantastic dining options.”
