PHOTOS: Prime Minister David Cameron in Barrowford
Pendle lighting firm ACDC LED, Barrowford, had a surprise visit today from Prime Minsiter David Cameron.
He met Conservative candidate Andrew Stephenson and was shown round the firm at Innovation Works, Gisburn Road, by the firm’s Chief Executive, Gareth Frankland, who explained the growth of the business and its worldwide trade links.
Afterwards, the Prime Minister said he was “very impressed” with the firm and described it as a “revolutionary business across the world.”
Mr Frankland added the visit was only arranged with 24 hours’ notice and went on: “He was very interested in the growth story of the business. It was really good to have him here.”
