How to get tickets for Peter Kay's one-off Blackpool Opera House show as they go on sale today
‘I felt as if I had to do something to try and help them raise the funds’
Peter Kay has announced a special one-off performance at Blackpool Opera House, with all profits from the show being donated to the ‘All In for Fin’ fundraising campaign.
The campaign is raising vital funds to support Fin Cormack and his family as they seek the heart surgery he urgently needs at the Mayo Clinic, USA. Fin is from Prenton, a town on the Wirral peninsula on Merseyside.
Fin, now 19, was born with a rare and severe heart defect called Ebstein's anomaly and had his first open-heart surgery at just 11 days old. His previous heart repair is now failing, causing severe fatigue and breathlessness. The family needs to raise between $200,000 and $250,000 (roughly £250,000) to cover the operation, travel, and medical expenses.
The much-loved comedian will take to the stage for a special 1pm performance on Sunday, September 27, adding an extra date to his record-breaking tour specifically to support Fin’s fundraising campaign.
Peter decided he wanted to help after seeing a news report about Fin and his family’s situation.

Peter said: “I saw a news report about the situation with Fin and his family, and I felt as if I had to do something to try and help them raise the funds. I hope people will support this really important event to help Fin receive the vital surgery he needs.”
The one-off Blackpool performance will give fans an additional opportunity to see Peter live while supporting the campaign, with proceeds from the show going towards the ‘All In for Fin’ fundraising target.
Clare Cormack said: “We were bowled over when Peter called and told us that he wanted to support Fin! What an amazing guy that he’s taken the time to do this - it’s completely unreal. We are still pinching ourselves!”

Peter’s latest tour has broken records across the UK, and the newly announced Blackpool matinee will be a particularly special addition to the run, bringing fans together for an afternoon of comedy in support of Fin and his family.
Peter Kay’s extra special performance for ‘All In for Fin’ will take place at Blackpool Opera House at 1pm on Sunday, September 27.
