Urgent appeal launched to help find missing Whalley man

Police have launched an urgent appeal to help find a missing Whalley man with links to Clitheroe and Leyland.

Simon Day (54) was last seen at an address in Oakdale Drive on Wednesday, and it is thought he left there the following day. He has not returned since.

Officers are extremely concerned for his welfare and are urging anybody who knows of his whereabouts to contact them as soon as possible.

Simon is described as 6ft. 2in. tall, with a slim but muscly build, and grey hair. He may be wearing a dark blue jacket with bits of orange and blue Adidas trainers.

He has links to Clitheroe, Leyland, Horwich, Preston, Horwich and Stoke-on-Trent.
