The Academy gymnasts had also been donating any spare time they had from training into going out to deliver leaflets and spread the word of the centre.

Citing that due to loss of attendants, lack of funds and constantly ever growing overheads, the club was nearly no more, Jordan added: "The Academy only exists due to a change in circumstances during the pandemic."It was discussed, agreed and founded in the time frame of one week."The Academy girls had all been through a lot as had many during the lockdowns, so to come back and form a new Academy with coaches all new to their roles and learning as they go we feel they have done outstandingly and made us all very proud."This is just the beginning for the Academy our goals are big and our work ethic is even bigger."
