The Talbot opens its doors after 150k refurbishment

The Talbot in Euxton has undergone a 150k refurbishment, five years after its first refurbishment under Northwest pub company, Blind Tiger Inns.

Opening its doors to the public last Friday, the Balshaw Lane pub now boasts a grey, blue and white exterior with a wooden picket fence around the perimeter, an extended beer garden, the introduction of stone-baked pizzas and a staged area for entertainment.

Professional graffiti artists ‘Urban Gypset’ came all the way from Cornwall to spray paint artwork onto all the walls. Foliage and flowers have been added to the ceilings and the Mediterranean tiling has been carried through from outside, giving it a rustic and fresh interior vibe.

Popular things such as live TV sport and the weekly quiz will remain, as well as the pool table and darts board in the vault area of the pub.

Chris Tulloch, Managing Director at Blind Tiger Inns said: I’m always proud of the transformations within Blind Tiger Inns but this refurb is insanely good – it’s nothing like we have ever done before."
