Sea of blue to bid farewell to five-year-old Charlie Robinson

Balloons and banners adorned St Hilda's Church in Bilsborrow as family, friends and pupils wore blue to remember five-year-old Charlie Robinson.

Mourners lined the streets on Friday afternoon to pay their respects and say farewell to little Charlie, who had bravely battled a brain tumour for much of his young life.

The youngster was diagnosed with a rare tumour called an ependymoma on his brain at aged two. He sadly passed away on April 7, 2021.

Today, people gathered in Billsborrow dressed in blue to remember him.
