With the ongoing cost of living crisis, many pet owners are resorting to placing their furry companions in the RSPCA’s care, as they can sadly no longer afford to look after them.
Here are all the gorgeous furry friends currently being cared for at the RSPCA Preston branch that have not found their perfect family – could it be you?
Take a look at the latest adorable bunch including Spirit and Cleo.

5. Cole
Cole is a chilled out and confident 10-week-old kitten looking to spend his first Christmas snuggling with his forever family. He is a confident, play machine of a kitten who loves to interact with people. He takes everything in his stride and seems to be genuinely happy with the simple things like food, play and company. Cole can be rehomed on his own, or with another young active cat under one. Any children in the home should be primary school aged or above and Cole could live with a cat friendly dog. 6. Dolly
Dolly has been waiting patiently for a year to find her forever home—making her the RSPCA's longest-staying rabbit resident! She is a cheeky little character who helpfully “supervises” pen cleaning. Food time is her favourite part of the day—you’ll often see her binkying with joy as soon as she knows a treat is on its way. She can live indoors in a suitable sheltered environment, but if indoors it would need to be an adult-only home that is experienced with rescue rabbits. Photo: RSPCA Manchester

7. Moretti and Rosellini
On the lookout for an adorable, ready-made piggy pair - with great hair dos, to boot? Then look no further! Moretti (black and white, 18 months) and Rossellini (ginger and white, 12 months) are a bonded pair of piggy boys. The lads are very much typical guinea pigs. Their favourite things to do are tunnel through deep hay, gnaw on their cardboard boxes, and wheek for veggies! The boys are still quite shy, and derive most comfort from being close to each other, snuggled up in their hay. Photo: RSPCA Manchester

8. Venus and Serena
Venus and Serena are the best of friends and take great pleasure in playing, napping and feasting together. They are both very fond of their grub and will come running to the door of their pen as soon as they spot you heading their direction. Venus (smooth coat) is the more placid of the duo. She is a gentle, sweet rabbit who will politely nudge your feet to gain your attention and enjoys some soft head rubs when the mood strikes her. Serena (fluffy coat) is a stunning bundle of fluff and will do the most amazing binkies when it comes to feeding time as well as steal food from her sister! Photo: RSPCA Manchester
