In total, the team raised £1,625.

Sue Swire, fundraising manager for Rosemere Cancer Foundation, said: “We are very grateful to the team for their fantastic donation.

“We fund a lot of projects for our dedicated Radiotherapy Department colleagues, who work tirelessly to ensure their patients receive the most innovative treatment. Giving up a Sunday to take on a challenge like this to help us is testament to their commitment to their patients’ care.”

Rosemere Cancer Foundation works to bring world class cancer treatments and services to cancer patients from throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria being treated not only at Rosemere Cancer Centre, which is the region’s specialist cancer treatment and radiotherapy centre at the Royal Preston Hospital, but also at another eight local hospital cancer units across the two counties.
