Hundreds of people including former veterans, serving members of the Armed Forces, children and even dogs all gathered at Flag Market to pay their respects to those who lost their lives so we could have a better one.
The Mayor of Preston alongside councillors also paid their respects while listening to prayers and observing a two minute silence at 11am, before a parade made its way throught the city centre.
At the end of the service, members of the public were also able to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph.
Take a look at some wonderful pictures of the incredible turnout.
