Sally is a three-year-old brown and black cross breed who went missing on Tuesday, May 19.

She isn’t from the Morecambe area and was staying with her owner Karl's friend while he was away.

They collected Sally that day and took her to the beach for an hour where she seemed quite happy.

They then went home and as Sally hadn’t been for a wee on the beach the back door was left open.

Sally was in and out and the next minute she had vanished.

The back gate ( 5.5ft high ) can only be opened from inside so she isn’t presumed stolen..

They ran round but couldn’t see her anywhere.

Sally came to Karl’s house as a five-week-old puppy on April 12, 2017 and was bought for Karl’s ill son but sadly he died the next day.

So Sally has even more special meaning to Karl.

She is also his support dog for his health issues.

Karl is missing her dreadfully and everyone is very concerned for her after being missing three weeks.

Everyone has been looking for her since she vanished, but there have been no confirmed sightings.

There was a report of a gentleman getting on a bus with a very similar looking bitch and friends have spoken to Stagecoach regarding camera footage.

Unfortunately no footage was available but the guy was in his 20’s/30’s and the dog did seem reluctant to get on the bus.

It was the 1 or 1a bus that goes to Lancaster on May 28 at around 2.38pm.

There is also a very similar dog that a gentleman walks down the promenade at Morecambe but this dog is male.

People are trawling the area from early morning to late evening but really need the public's help to get her found.

Sally is chipped and her chip hasn’t to date been scanned by anyone.

She possibly wouldn’t just go to anyone so if sighted the owner needs to be contacted as soon as possible.

If found she should be reported to the council dog warden, as required by law.

Contact 07977 282820 if you can help.

Sally is also on the doglost website at www.doglost.co.uk or telephone 0844 800 3220.
