These were the scenes as the centre of Bamber Bridge fell silent for the funeral of Ben Smith, killed in a road incident last month.

Before his funeral took place at Charnock Richard Crematorium, his funeral courtege passed through Station Road, so people could pay their respects.

Dozens gathered with flowers and balloons, and a convoy of scooters and motorbikes joined the procession, a nod to Ben's love of speed.
