People have been told to take their medical concerns online due to problems with the NHS non-emergency number 111.
A spokesman for NHS England and NHS Improvement said: "We are aware some people are experiencing issues with the NHS 111 phone service. If you need urgent medical advice, please visit 111.nhs.uk.
