This stunning display was caught on camera by photographer Josh Brandwood.

Lancaster City Council unveiled a spectacular display of 12,000 poppies at the iconic Ashton Memorial at Williamson’s Park.

The poppies were created by people from across the Lancaster District including residents, schools, charities, community organisations and uniformed groups.

The display will remain in place until November 11, Armistice Day, and everyone is warmly invited to visit, take a moment to reflect and enjoy this beautiful tribute to those who have served and sacrificed.
