Five people taken to hospital after kitchen fire in Preston
Five people have been taken to hospital and treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in a kitchen in Longfield, Preston this morning.

They were taken to hospital by North West Ambulance Service earlier this morning.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire Service said: “At 11:18am two fire engines from Fulwood and Preston attended a kitchen fire on Longfield.
"Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.”
Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and thirty minutes.
