Eight-year-old Lostock Hall boy with ADHD raises £500 for food bank
Joshua Blackwell has hosted raffles to raise £500 for New Day Church's food bank and £120 for Moss Side Community Centre, which is putting together care packages for isolating people.
The eight-year-old started his mission seven weeks ago, and after reaching his £500 target on the last day of lock-down, he has been given a certificate from the food bank to applaud his hard work.

Joshua said: "Some people don't have a home or enough to eat, and I like helping people. It makes me feel happy.
"There are a lot of people who need help, so I'm going to carry on helping them."
His mum Nicola says she could not be prouder of how her son has dedicated his time to good causes during lock-down.
She added: "It's brilliant and has given him a focus."

The team at New Day Church Food Bank were so impressed by Joshua's kindness that they not only gave him a certificate but also delivered a bundle of sweet treats for the eight-year-old and his siblings, who helped out, to enjoy.
Wendy Hodgson, the food bank's coordinator, said: "We are very grateful for the support that Joshua is providing, which is allowing us to purchase essential food supplies to support local families in need.
"He has amazed us with the energy and enthusiasm he has put into his fundraising activities!"
