Donna said: “Charities are especially suffering at the moment as people who would normally hold bake sales and raffles and people who would normally run marathons simply aren’t able to do those things in the current climate. So I got my thinking cap on and thought about how I can raise funds this year again without being able to get out and about.

"Alzheimer's and dementia are diseases that will touch many of our lives - and also the lives of the people we most care about. Although so much work is being done to help find treatment which will either cure or provide respite, ongoing funds are essential for this, and the support network they provide, to continue."

More than £500 worth of prizes are up for grabs, including a hot stones massage at Pure Health & Beauty, a free M.O.T at Primroselink Motors, and a £20 voucher for Form Barbers.

Raffle tickets are £2 each or three for £5 and can be purchased by visiting https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/donna-mc-mac
