World Book Day falls on the first Thursday of March every year and this year, as always, school children from across Lancashire really impressed us with their fabulous costumes.
We asked the readers of the Lancashire Post and Blackpool Gazette to share photos of their dressed up little ones with us and we received nearly 600 submissions!
Various galleries exist across the two websites but in the below gallery, we have collated 33 of the very best costumes for you to have a nose at.
It might give you some inspiration for next year!
