Hide AdPhotographs were posted on social media earlier this month of a house in the Plungington area plastered with notices.
Some read: “Drugs sold here”, “Drug dealers live here”.
Plungington Labour Coun Pav Akhtar said drug dealing and anti-social behaviour was a major issue in the area.
He said the notices on the suspected drugs den were a sign that people may soon take matters into their own hands.
Police responded to the concerns by sending officers to the area.

Coun Akhtar said yesterday : “I’m just glad that the community is being listened to and I feel assured that the police are serious about getting action to clean up our community.”
He said drug dealers and sex workers were a regular sight in the area.
In an earlier tweet he thanked the neighbourhood team and added: “Good to know arrests were made. One brothel and a drug den closed. Some more to go.”
A Lancashire police spokesman confirmed that two youths had been detained but released.
He said officers would take action to address issues raised by the community.
