The Blue Anchor Bretherton pub, located at 21 South Road, reopened last Friday, October 30, with landlady Birgit who has been running pubs as a general manager for the past seven years.
She told the Post: “We are looking to turn the place back into a community pub.
"We are family friendly and dog friendly.
"We have a great selection of food and drinks available.”
She added: “We have loads of amazing events coming up and we are looking forward to seeing you.”
Opening hours for the pub will be as follows:
Wednesday to Sunday from 12-9pm, with food being served from 12-8pm.
There will also be a Sunday carvery and an all-you-can-eat buffet from Wednesday to Saturday from 12-3pm.
