One casualty treated by ambulance crews after outbuilding fire in Blackburn

One person received first aid treatment from paramedics after an outbuilding caught fire in Blackburn.

Three fire engines from Blackburn and Hyndburn attended an incident in Garden Street at around 7.15am on Monday (August 15).

The incident involved an outbuilding approximately 15x3m in size that had caught alight, according to the fire service.

Firefighters used small tools, two jets, a fog spike and a saw to extinguish the flames.

One casualty received treatment from North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) paramedics.
