Northcote to run Cathedral Court café
The team behind Northcote, Ribble Valley's Michelin starred restaurant and luxury hotel, is set to open a café in Blackburn Cathedral's new Cathedral Court building.
Celebrity chef Nigel Haworth and business partner Craig Bancroft are behind the venture called Café Northcote which it is hoped will help attract thousands of visitors to the new £30 million Cathedral Quarter development, which aims to provide a “beacon for the best of Lancashire”.
The development will provide offices, conference rooms a library, a large square, cloister and accommodation for cathedral staff. The 78-cover café will create 17 jobs.
