Morecambe caravan park murder trial delayed

The start of the trial of a Heysham woman accused of murder has been delayed.

Terri-Marie Palmer, 23, of Warton Avenue, Heysham, was due to appear at Preston Crown Court for trial on Monday, February 8, in relation to the alleged murder of 23-year-old Damon Searson.

The trial will now commence on Wednesday, February 10.

Police were called by the ambulance service to a caravan on Stud Farm Park, Oxcliffe Road, Morecambe, at around 12.15am on Friday, August 14, 2015, following reports that a man had been stabbed.

Mr Searson was taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary with a wound to his chest but was pronounced dead on arrival.
