Missing Preston man Ajani Campbell not seen for nearly six weeks as police issue fresh appeal
Police have issued a renewed appeal for information as the search continues for a missing Preston man who has not been seen for nearly six weeks.
Ajani Campbell, 40, known as AJ, has been missing since the end of January and both police and his family remain “very concerned” for his welfare.
The last confirmed sighting of AJ was in Manchester city centre at around 1.50am on Sunday, January 25, when he was seen walking along Deansgate towards Quay Street.

Police have released CCTV footage showing him on St Ann Street shortly before that sighting, along with a recent photograph provided by his mother in the hope someone may recognise him.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: “Enquiries have been ongoing since AJ was reported missing, and we are grateful for all the help you have provided so far, and we would ask again for anyone who has seen him or who has any information to come forward and speak to us.
“There is no suggestion AJ has done anything wrong or is in any trouble and our focus is on trying to find him safe and well.”
AJ has links to the Avenham and New Hall Lane areas of Preston, as well as Manchester and London.
For immediate sightings of AJ, call 999 immediately.
Anyone with information about previous sightings or where he may be should contact police on 101 quoting log 1159 of January 25.
