Man stabbed in buttocks outside takeaway

The attack happened at around 10.30pm last night outside Al Quds takeaway on Manchester Road.

The 19-year-old victim was taken to hospital and subsequently discharged.

A police spokeswoman said: “We’re unclear at what has happened at this time because the man is currently not co-operating with police.

“If anyone has any information about the incident please contact police on 101 quoting the crime reference number SA-1609301.”
