Man 'exposes himself' to woman near Blackburn primary school

A man is wanted after reportedly exposing himself to a woman walking near a primary school in Blackburn.
The incident happened on Cavendish Place at around 3.30pm on November 10, with the victim reporting that a man exposed himself before attempting to speak to her as she walked away.
He is described as black, around 6ft tall, stocky, clean-shaven and wearing a black hooded bomber jacket, jeans and white trainers.

Officers said no arrests have been made but confirmed the report is being treated “extremely seriously”.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: “We have a dedicated team of detectives and uniformed officers assigned to this case.
“They are out carrying enquiries in the area in order to trace and arrest the suspect.
“These include house to house enquiries, speaking to witnesses and going through hours of footage form the area.”
Detectives are also examining whether the incident may be linked to three recent reports involving similarly described suspects in Blackburn.
These include a man on a pushbike allegedly following a woman on New Chapel Street on October 25; a man exposing himself from a van on Franklin Road on November 12; and a man on a pushbike making sexualised comments to a woman on Infirmary Road.
Police urged residents not to speculate online, adding: “We know that people will have legitimate concerns and there will inevitably be speculation on social media.
“We would just ask that people stick to the facts and trust that we are doing everything we can identify and arrest this suspect.”
Anyone with information or footage is asked to call 101, quoting log number 876 of November 10, 2025.
