A Whittle-le-Woods pub is set to close tomorrow for a month to undergo an extensive refurbishment.

The Malthouse Farm, located on Moss Lane, will shut its doors “to make it even more beautiful” for guests.

It is earmarked for an enhanced bar area and new outdoor furniture and additional seating.

Announcing the news on their Facebook page, a spokesperson for the business said: “As of tomorrow, we’re closing our doors for a little while!

“Following months of careful planning and preparation, we’re starting work on an exciting new look at the Malthouse Farm.”

They added to call in today for a drink and some food.

The pub is expected to reopen on Monday, March 9.
