The fire was affecting approximately three miles of moorland.
At the Longridge Fell fire, ten engines have been sent to the incident with more than 60 firefighters at the scene.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service’s Chief fire officer Justin Johnston said it was ‘more than likely’ the Darwen Moor fire was started by a disposable barbecue which was found near where the blaze started.

“Likewise in the summer I dislike disposable barbecues in public spaces. Time for change?”
A LFRS spokesman said: "If you’re nearby and affected by smoke, please stay indoors and keep your windows and doors closed.
"Please avoid the area."
