Police said the driver, who did not have a full licence, has been reported for motoring offences.

A Ribble Valley Police spokesman said: "Longridge Neighbourhood Policing Team and Tac Ops have today attended a road traffic collision at Ribchester.

"Luckily nobody was seriously injured.

"This is not the way to negotiate a bend, otherwise your car will park itself in it's own parking space.

"Driver has been reported for offences, including not having a full driving licence.

"The driver clearly needs many more lessons."
