All the events being held in Lancashire to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day

With Holocaust Memorial Day approaching across the globe, we have rounded up the events being held in Lancashire to commemorate the day.

The International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust is held on January 27 every year.

Each year, communites across Lancashire, as well as the world, gather to remember the six million people murdered in the Holocaust, and the millions more murdered under Nazi persecution.

The theme for Holocaust Memorial Day 2026 is ‘Bridging Generations’ and various events have already been planned across Lancashire to commemorate the occasion.

We have below listed all the events we have spotted so far, but as we expect more to be announced in the coming weeks, we will update this story.

Please do also get in contact with us if you know of any more events.
