Intruder flouts order

A known thief who flouted a criminal behaviour order by entering the grounds of a private home with intent to steal has been jailed for 20 weeks by Preston Magistrates’ Court.

Christopher Shields 29, of Maple Grove, Ribbleton, Preston, admitted entering the grounds of the dwelling.

He also admitted three counts of interfering with a vehicle.

He must pay an £80 surcharge.

PRESTON: Kieran O’Rourke, 33, of Porter Street, Preston, admits using a public electronic communications network for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to a woman.

He was given a restraining order and must pay a £100 fine, £20 surcharge and £85 costs, the bench at Preston Magistrates’ Court ruled.

PRESTON: Damien Cooper, of Hassett Close, Preston, was given a curfew after admitting possessing a dangerous dog.

The bench at Preston Magistrates’ Court heard the 21-year-old had a pitbull dog in September last year.

He was ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £270 prosecution costs.

PRESTON: Denton Priestley, 21, of Miller Road, Preston, admits entering apartments as a trespasser and stealing pedal cycles.

He was given a curfew and must pay £200 compensation and a £60 surcharge.

CHORLEY: Kenneth Walkden, of The Martindales, Clayton-le-Woods, Chorley, was jailed for a total of 98 days by Preston Magistrates’ Court after admitting breaching a restraining order by contacting a woman.

During the hearing the bench said the 53-year-old had a “flagrant disregard for court orders”.

PRESTON: Ryan Begley, 25, of Ribbleton Lane, Preston, admits allowing himself to be carried in a stolen car which was later involved in an accident in the city.

He was given four weeks in prison.

He was also banned from driving for 12 months by Preston Magistrates’ Court.

CHORLEY: David Shaw, 29, of Hollinshead Street, Chorley, admits breaching his restraining order by entering a named street.

He must pay a £160 fine and £20 surcharge.

Nicola Chapman, 38, of Marsh Lane, Preston, was discharged for 12 months after admitting disorderly behaviour and damaging a pillow in a police cell, and must pay £50 compensation and a £15 surcharge.

Philip Nicholson, 33, of The Moorings, Chorley, admits possessing cannabis and must pay a £65 fine, £22 surcharge and £85 costs.

Graham Seefus, 42, of Maitland Street, Preston, was found guilty of damaging a motorbike and must pay £100 compensation, a £90 fine, and a £20 surcharge.

James Brown Colton, 53, of no fixed abode, was discharged for 12 months after admitting stealing three candles but must pay a £15 surcharge and £20 costs.

Michael Waine, 21, of Keepers Wood Way, Chorley, was discharged for 12 months after admitting damaging a window but must pay £100 compensation, a £15 surcharge, and £85 costs.

Benita Cornforth, 22, of Vicarage Close, Adlington, Chorley, admits failing to comply with a red light signal and must pay a £40 fine, £20 surcharge and £85 costs.

Brendan Lund, 38, of Wharfedale Avenue, Ribbleton, Preston, admits failing to give driver information and must pay a £120 fine, £20 surcharge and £85 costs.

Louis Abram, 25, of Anderton Street, Chorley, is banned for six months after admitting driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and must pay a £220 fine, £22 surcharge and £85 costs.

Abdullah Alkhadhuri, 31, of Murray Street, Preston, was found guilty of failing to give driver information and must pay a £660 fine, £66 surcharge and £85 costs.

James Beardsworth, 69, of Clifton Avenue, Warton, admits not wearing a seatbelt and must pay a £220 fine, £22 surcharge and £85 costs.
