Banned from cafe

A WOMAN has been banned from a Preston café for two years after assaulting a man, using threatening behaviour, and causing £720 damage to an advertising board.

Nicola Maria Chapman, 38, of no fixed abode, must do unpaid work for 80 hours after the incident at Scrumptious Café on Cheapside, Preston on February 4, magistrates in Preston ruled.

She and was given a restraining order not to enter the curtilage of the café and must pay £260 compensation and a £60 surcharge.

Leyland: A man who assaulted a woman and a man has learning difficulties and psychiatric needs, Preston Magistrates’ Court was told.

Richard Page, 43, of Mill Lane, Leyland, assaulted his victims on February 4.

He was discharged for two years and must pay a £156 surcharge.

Preston: Patrick Wallace, 48, of no fixed abode, was jailed for 32 weeks after admitting harassing a woman with voicemails and texts, and stealing two handbags from a shop.

Preston magistrates said he was a “persistent and prolific offender”. He also admitted breaching a suspended sentence order.

Preston: Shaun Allonby, 27, of Grimshaw Street, Preston, is to be sentenced at Preston Magistrates’ Court on March 2 after being found guilty of assaulting two women on November 22.

Preston: A man found to have a knife was given 12 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months and must do 200 hours unpaid work. Robert Pavlov, 36, of Blackpool Road, Ashton, admits being drunk and disorderly and possessing an offensive weapon. Preston Magistrates’ Court ordered him to pay an £80 surcharge and £85 costs.

Preston: Jessica Jennings, of Livesey Street, Preston, was given a 26 week sentence suspended for 24 months, after admitting a string of shop theft.

The 22-year-old also admitted a charge of obstructing a police officer.

The bench at Preston Magistrates’ Court ruled she must have drug treatment.

Preston: Kelly Littlechild, 36, of Fishergate Hill, Preston, was discharged for six months and must pay £25 
compensation and a £15 surcharge after admitting assaulting a woman.

Stephen Martin Turner, 22, of Eavesgreen Road, Chorley,was discharged for six months after admitting using threatening behaviour but must pay a £15 surcharge and £85 costs.

Saif Ahmed, 27, Lytham Road, Fulwood, Preston, admits driving with too many people in his car and speeding, and must pay a £150 fine and £85 costs.

Barry Bates, 50, of Euston Road, Morecambe, was found guilty of failing to comply with a no entry sign and must pay a £220 fine, £22 surcharge, and 385 costs.

Csaba Istvan Csorvasi, 53, of Wilbraham Street, Preston,was found guilty of having a faulty hand brake and must pay a £440 fine, £44 surcharge and £85 costs.

Michael Harrison, 39, of Aldingham Walk, Morecambe, was banned for six months after being found guilty of driving without insurance and must pay a £180 fine, £20 surcharge and £85 costs.

Ahmed Ali Al-Mohannadi, 21, of Lawson Street, Preston, was found guilty of failing to give driver information and must pay a £660 fine, £66 surcharge and £85 costs.

Susan Joyce, 33, of Oxcliffe Road, Morecambe, was found guilty of using a phone while driving and must pay a £220 fine, £22 surcharge and £85 costs.

John Shepherd, 50, of Church Lane, Goosnargh, admit driving while not wearing a seatbelt and must pay a must pay a £200 fine, £20 surcharge and £85 costs.

Manuel Maria Cambe Silva Paiva, 48, of The Martindales, Clayton-le-Woods, Chorley, admits driving without insurance and must pay a £220 fine, £22 surcharge and £85 costs.

Lee Higham, 33, of Skeffington Road, Preston, was given a rehabilitation requirement after admitting stealing a coat and must pay £240 compensation.
