Thief at church

A criminal who stole money from a city church has been ordered to have six months of drug treatment.

Anthony Frederick Luke Schurock, 39, of Colwyn Place, Ingol, Preston, has been ordered to pay £10 compensation to his victim, St Wilfrid’s Church on Chapel Street, after admitting theft tof an unknown amount of cash there on October 26.

Preston Magistrates’ Court also ordered him to pay a £25 fine.

LEYLAND: Matthew Tribello, 29, of Station Road, Bamber Bridge, will be sentenced at Preston Crown Court on February 16 after admitting two counts of supplying class A drugs.

He admits supplying methylamphetamine and diazepam, to a man between April 16 and 19 last year. Magistrates committed the case.

CHORLEY: A man took a car without consent and was caught behind the wheel while under the influence of booze on December 17, Preston magistrates heard.

Shaun Jenkins, 25, of Claremont Road, Chorley, also admits driving without insurance or a licence and is disqualified for 12 months.

Preston: Joshua Burrell, 24, of Glenluce Drive, Preston, was given 50 hours unpaid work after admitting assaulting a man on October 3.

Chorley magistrates ordered him to pay 50 compensation, a £60 surcharge and £100 costs.

CHORLEY: A man has been sentenced over a incident in Chorley on June 6.

Jamie Rhienheimer, 43, of Temperance Street, Chorley, admits a charge of using racially aggravated threatening or abusive words or behaviour.

He was ordered by Chorley magistrates to pay a £660 fine, £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

LEYLAND: Jason Unwin, 29, of Yarrow Road, Chorley, was given a 16 week jail term, suspended for 12 months after admitting assaulting a man in Leyland on November 22.

Chorley Magistrates’ Court also ordered him to pay £100 compensation to his victim, an £80 victim surcharge and £100 costs.

Preston: Nathan James Corey, 19, of Moor Park Avenue, Preston, admits entering a house in Ashton as a trespasser and stealing £1,300 of goods.

Court snaps

James Oldham, 26, of Amber Drive, Chorley, admits possessing cannabis resin, and must pay a £320 fine, £32 surcharge and £85 costs.

Darren Shaw, 36, of Beachley Road, Ingol, Preston, was given a curfew after admitting stealing a Dyson vacuum cleaner and mobile phone and must pay £150 compensation.

Phillip Blacow, 38, of Linden Drive, Lostock Hall, was bound over in the sum of £200 to keep the peace for 12 months after admitting breaching the peace.

Simon Wilson, 46, of Fox Street, Preston, is banned from BHS and Home Bargains in Preston for six months after admitting stealing deodorant and washing powder and must have drug treatment and pay a £60 surcharge and £85 costs.

Nikkita Haymes,26, of Sullom Side Lane, Barnacre, near Preston, admits driving without insurance must pay a £125 fine, £20 surcharge and £85 costs.

Mark Hoey, 38, of Oxcliffe Road, Morecambe, admits causing an obstruction with a BMW sports car and must pay a £145 fine, £20 surcharge and £85 costs.

Aleksander Tronchev, 32, of Rosemary Lane, Lancaster, was found guilty of failing to give driver information and must pay a £660 fine, £66 surcharge and £85 costs.

David Georgiou, 45, of Tag Croft, Ingol, Preston, admits possessing cannabis, and must pay an £80 fine, £20 surcharge and £85 costs.

Ian Blakey, 30, of Bannister Hall Drive, Higher Walton, Preston, was discharged conditionally for 12 months after admitting possessing cannabis and must pay a £15 surcharge and £50 costs.

Joshua Baines, 18, of Thornhill Road, Chorley, admits driving without insurance must pay a £120 fine, £20 surcharge and £85 costs.
